Two dice, a board, and chips are needed to play the game of craps. Craps is played in rounds, with as many as 20 players participating at any given time and rolling the dice simultaneously. The objective of the game of craps is to correctly guess the value that will be shown on the shooter’s dice.
Players place bets on the “come-out roll,” also known as the first roll of the dice. Players have the option of passing this round or not passing it at their discretion. If the total value of the dice is 7 or 11, also known as a “natural,” or 2, 3, or 12, the round is over (craps).
If a 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 is rolled when the dice are being passed around, the number that was rolled becomes the “Point,” and the game moves on to the next phase. A puck will be placed on the point number of the craps table, and the base dealer will collect any additional bets that have been placed. Just one more throw of the dice. The game of craps continues until the shooter rolls a seven or a number that is one of the point values.

Because craps is such a fast-paced game, it can be challenging to pick up the rules simply by watching. The majority of the rules for craps are straightforward and center on the shooter and the bets, making them easy to understand. Craps is a game that should be played later
Every player at craps has their own personal chipshelf. Before entering a game, you should hold off until the dealer’s shelf is completely bare. Be sure to shoot accurately.
If the game is ended by the shooter, that player will continue to be the shooter in the following game. When the shooter gets a seven, their position shifts to the next available spot.
Do not separate the dice
Bets in craps are determined by the combined values of the game’s two dice. The dealers will not take bets on individual rolls of the die.
It is possible to lose bets even if you are not the one who is shooting
Some people are under the impression that their wagers are only valid after they have rolled the dice. If you have chips that are currently on the table, you are still in the game.
Bets should only be placed when the dealers are willing to take them
The dealers will make a public announcement when they are ready to accept bets. Be sure to place your wagers before the dealers go around the craps table.
Craps on the Layout
The layout of the craps table is another important consideration for novice players. Craps is a fast-paced game, but the dealers are more than happy to explain the different types of bets. When players don’t know how to play craps, they have fewer options for how they can wager their money, which in turn lowers their chances of winning.
A typical craps table will have two sides that are mirror images of one another. This is done so that there can be more players at one table without affecting the gameplay in any way; the two sides are identical in every way. When there are a lot of people playing craps, it helps to have two dealers to handle all of the wagers.

Avoid Placing a Bet on the Line
This is the one and only way to play the game of craps. Players place bets on whether or not the shooter will roll a two, three, or twelve before a seven or an eleven. Players of craps place their bets on the pass line because seven is the number with the highest probability of occurring.
Don’t Pass is the opposite of the term Pass Line. Players chose to wager on 2 or 3 rather than 7 or 11 before the game began. If a player is unlucky enough to win with a 12, the dealer will give back their money.
Come or Leave
This wager is placed after a number that corresponds to a point has been rolled. A player places a Come bet when they have the expectation that the shooter will roll a 7 or 11 before the point is reached.
The Don’t Come bet is the opposite of the Don’t Pass bet, and vice versa. Bets known as “Don’t Come” are placed with the expectation that the shooter will hit the point number before rolling either a seven or an eleven.
